TV Spot & Visual Effects

The Wellington City Mission is a nonprofit organisation with the aim of supporting those most in need in the Wellington region. I collaborated with Howie Shoot to deliver an ad campaign promoting their Winter Appeal.

The concept behind this TV spot is following the process of a food donation journey.

This was visually communicated through the lens of a character - a heart symbol.

A visual representation of an act of kindness by people who donate to their community.

We follow this heart character from the beginning when a donation is being made online, to the donation being delivered by Wellington City Mission, to food on the table for the family in need.

The heart symbol character speaks as a bridge between an act of kindness and the positive end result.
